Advertising in Antalya Airports
How it works
How to rent a billboard in Antalya: four steps
Choosing sites
A city, a format, a district or specific addresses on the map. What you tick goes into a list.
Request
Send us the list and your campaign dates. A manager replies during business hours and clarifies the brief.
Quote and hold
We check availability with the board owners and price the quote. If an address is taken, we'll try to negotiate the current advertiser's move off it, and if that doesn't work, find you an equivalent board nearby.
Artwork and launch
We'll tell you the artwork specs, print, and install. After launch we send a placement report.
Questions
Frequently asked questions about advertising in Antalya
Faces in the catalogue: 10. Addresses under them: 10. Owners: 1. Every face carries an exact address, plus a photo and a rate-card price where the owner has published them, and we confirm availability with the structure owners.
There is nothing municipal to compare that with: nobody publishes an official count of advertising structures in Antalya. The 2025 ABB annual report names 15,618 active payers of the announcement and advertising tax and 42,996 declarations filed, but those are payers and documents inside the metropolitan permit zone, not structures.
There are normally two permits: the district one, then the metropolitan one on top. Article 49 of the city regulation İlan ve Reklam Yönetmeliği (council decision no. 351 of 9 April 2018) requires it for anything affecting the look of the city. One ABB permit is enough where the site lies wholly in its zone, and article 7 puts into that zone:
- the main roads, squares, boulevards and streets placed in ABB competence by council decision, and the buildings facing them;
- coach and tram stations, airports and piers, public transport, taxi ranks and car parks;
- the state and provincial roads run by Karayolları Genel Müdürlüğü, which is where the coastal D-400 falls;
- shopping centres, industrial zones, the shoreline and the airspace above it.
A permit is taken per structure; with no answer in twenty working days it is deemed granted, while a structure put up without one is removed at once and without warning. The maximum term is ten years, and it holds only while the advertising tax is paid on time.
The regulation closes places, not formats. Inside protected sites (sit alanları) a structure needs the heritage authority as well, and article 48 also bans anything outside such a site that affects how the site is perceived. In Antalya that is above all Kaleiçi, registered as Kaleiçi Kentsel ve III. Derece Arkeolojik Sit Alanı, and the neighbouring Balbey Kentsel Sit Alanı of 15.87 hectares. Then the flat bans:
- wholly residential buildings and their yards;
- the supports of footbridges and the facades and railings of vehicle underpasses — though the side walls and floor of pedestrian ones may be used;
- medium and high-voltage poles, roundabouts, squares, the shoreline and anything within 50 m of a junction;
- fly-posting in public space: under the 2026 tariff a poster goes up inside private property only, and only after ABB has cleared it.
The pavement is measured too: a footway keeps 1.50 m clear on top of its safety strips, and one carrying a transit stop must be 3 m wide.
Digital faces: 10 out of 10. A screen suits a campaign whose artwork and schedule have to change mid-flight — for events, the season, the time of day; a printed board carries one creative for the whole term.
One local rule applies to screens alone: they are capped in number. The first paragraph of article 30 of the regulation was annulled by the court, and the second, still in force, lets a district municipality install advertising and information LED screens in its own zone in a number equal to the number of members of its district council, and only in agreement with ABB.
The season here is a planning parameter rather than background, and it is published month by month: 205,712 foreign visitors entered through the border posts of the province in February 2025, 2,572,471 in August, and 16,007,580 across the year (Ministry of Culture and Tourism, "Sınır İstatistikleri Yıllık Bülteni 2025").
The resident count of the province does not move over a year and the foreign arrivals do — which is why the month of a campaign sets both the size of the audience here and its composition.
Yes, and it is the metropolitan municipality that clears it: under article 7 of the regulation the stops, the tram stations, the piers and public transport itself are its zone, not the district's. The city has one tram, Antray: line T1 runs Fatih — Havalimanı — Expo, that is through the airport and the exhibition grounds, and line T3 runs Varsak — Müze.
The only carrier ABB tariffs itself is a nostalgic tram car on the Müze — Zerdalilik route: 35,000.00 TL a month or 200,000.00 TL a year under the 2026 schedule, with the advertising area defined as the part of the car below the window line, fitting done by the advertiser and only out of service. That is an allocation fee, not a media rate.
