Kazakhstan issues no installation permit: the regime works on notice, and no placement scheme for advertising structures exists. The notice goes to the Ust-Kamenogorsk akimat — as a city of oblast significance it receives it itself rather than through the oblast — and if no answer arrives within four working days of receipt, the advertising goes up on the dates declared.

Artwork and address lists must render the Kazakh letters: ә, ғ, қ, ң, ө, ұ, ү, һ, і.
