Cities
The widest choice is in the largest cities, but there are boards in regional capitals and small towns too. The biggest are below; the full list is at the end of the page.

Prices
There is no single national rate card: a billboard on an arterial road and a billboard on a regional bypass are priced differently. Rate-card prices sit in the city catalogue, and a manager puts the final quote together in EUR.
A 6×3 poster on a city street, a panel in a bus shelter and a screen in a shopping centre are priced on different scales. Historic centres hold almost no large formats, so the choice there is dearer in itself.
Milan and Rome cost more than the south, and inside a city the gap between a ring road and a central street can be several times over.
A screen is sold as impressions in a loop, and the creative can change mid-campaign. A printed board holds the space for the whole term.
Resort destinations run on a summer calendar, while the business cities empty out in August. The pre-New-Year weeks cost more almost everywhere.
Each commune rates the single levy on its own scale, and we show it separately from the placement price. That keeps a comparison between two cities honest.
The longer the campaign and the more addresses in the request, the lower the price per space.

How it works
Four steps from choosing addresses to launch. We'll confirm free dates and terms before anything is signed.
A city, a format, a district or specific addresses on the map. What you tick goes into a list.
Send us the list and your campaign dates. A manager replies during business hours and clarifies the brief.
We check availability with the board owners and price the quote. If an address is taken, we'll try to negotiate the current advertiser's move off it, and if that doesn't work, find you an equivalent board nearby.
We'll tell you the artwork specs, print and install. After launch we send a placement report.

Correspondence, quote and documents
The quote may differ: it depends on the structure owner and their tax regime
Questions
Milan and Rome hold the top of the rate card, the south sits noticeably lower, and inside a city the gap between a ring road and a central street can be several times over. The price for a month is shown on the surface card, and the invoice arrives in EUR. Send the addresses and the dates and we will come back with a quote.
Outdoor structures are available in 18 cities, and the catalogue spans 18. The structures stand thickest here: Andria, Bari, Foggia. Permits are issued by the commune, so confirmation times differ between neighbouring cities and a national schedule is assembled from several local ones.
There are 2 formats, and the backbone of the market is Billboards. Six-by-three posters line the city streets, panels work on pedestrians in shelters, screens cluster in shopping centres and stations. Historic centres carry almost no large structures.
Besides the site price, the quote carries the commune levy: since 2021 a single charge has replaced the former advertising tax and the fee for occupying public space. The commune sets the rate itself and it depends on the size of the structure and where it stands, so we show the levy as its own line to keep a comparison of two cities honest. Print and installation are handled by the site owner and appear separately as well. Nothing beyond the approved quote is added after the start.
You can, but the choice there is different: large structures do not go up in protected quarters, while shelter panels, street furniture and shopfront formats do work. There are few such sites and they go before the rest, so the centre of Milan, Rome or Florence is planned first and the surroundings are filled in afterwards.
Send your question and AD.media will route it to the right planning team.
Rules
Things that can make a board unavailable or stop the artwork being approved.
Any advertising medium visible from a public place goes up on a prior authorisation from the comune. Where exactly it may stand and how large it may be is set by that city's general plan of advertising installations, so the pool of available addresses differs sharply between comuni.

The former advertising tax and the charge for occupying public space were merged into a single patrimonial levy introduced by Law No. 160 of 27 December 2019. Each comune sets its own rate, so an identical board costs differently in Milan and in a small town.

Tobacco advertising is prohibited in Italy, outdoor included. Alcohol may run on boards but with content limits, so it is worth naming the category in your request — we shortlist the right addresses and check the artwork up front.

A booked board is not a refusal. We make three moves in a row, and the first one is an attempt to free up the exact address you asked for.
We offer whoever is on the board a site that is just as good. If they agree to move, the address opens up for your campaign. The choice is theirs, so we cannot promise it — but we always ask.
If they stay, we bring you an equivalent address nearby: the same format, comparable traffic, the neighbouring junction. A replacement reaches your quote only after you have approved it.
The board you wanted stays on our watch list. The moment it frees up we tell you, and you get the first offer.
All of this is part of your manager's work and costs you nothing.
