Prices
There is no single national rate card: a billboard on an arterial road and a billboard on a regional bypass are priced differently. Rate-card prices sit in the city catalogue, and a manager puts the final quote together in EUR.
A city-light in a bus shelter, a board at a city exit and a screen in a shopping centre are priced on different scales. Riga's historic quarters hold almost no large formats.
Riga costs more than Daugavpils, Liepāja and Jūrmala, and within the city the central streets and transport hubs cost more than residential districts.
A screen is sold as impressions in a loop, and the creative can change mid-campaign. A printed board holds the space for the whole term.
Jūrmala and the coast cost more in summer; Riga is steadier through the year. The pre-New-Year weeks are taken earlier than other windows.
A bilingual creative is laid out anew rather than captioned, and that takes time before print. In the quote it is a separate preparation line.
The longer the campaign and the more addresses in the request, the lower the price per space.

How it works
Four steps from choosing addresses to launch. We'll confirm free dates and terms before anything is signed.
A city, a format, a district or specific addresses on the map. What you tick goes into a list.
Send us the list and your campaign dates. A manager replies during business hours and clarifies the brief.
We check availability with the board owners and price the quote. If an address is taken, we'll try to negotiate the current advertiser's move off it, and if that doesn't work, find you an equivalent board nearby.
We'll tell you the artwork specs, print and install. After launch we send a placement report.
The currency a manager confirms the quote in.
Correspondence, quote and documents
The quote may differ: it depends on the structure owner and their tax regime
Questions
There is no single national price: a 3×6 billboard in the capital and in a regional capital cost different amounts. Open the city you need — the rate-card price per month sits right on the board's card, and that is the ceiling. Send us a list of addresses and dates and we'll quote it with the volume discount applied; where a board carries no price yet, we'll give it separately.
Billboards and screens stand in 12 cities, and together with metro, radio and indoor advertising the catalogue covers 12. The widest choice is here: Riga, Jelgava, Valmiera. The full list with links is at the bottom of the page.
5 of them. The most common is Bus stops, which carries more sides than any other. Each format links to the city where there are most of them.
Tick the addresses you want on the map or in the catalogue and send a request. You don't have to choose anything at all: tell us what you're advertising and in which cities, and we'll build the list. We then check free dates with the owners, send a quote and offer an alternative if an address is taken. The campaign starts once you approve the terms and the artwork.
Digital screens make up 30 of the 1,667 sides here. A screen runs in a loop, so the creative and the schedule can change mid-campaign. A printed board holds the site for the whole term. Short promotions usually go to screens, long brand campaigns to print.
Send your question and AD.media will route it to the right planning team.
Rules
Things that can make a board unavailable or stop the artwork being approved.
An advertising object not attached to the land is matched and permitted in Riga by the City Development Department of the council; other municipalities run their own procedure and their own rules. The permit stays with the structure's owner.

Public information and advertising are carried in the state language. A foreign text alongside is allowed, but the Latvian version may not be smaller — that changes the layout of the artwork, not just the amount of translation.

A booked board is not a refusal. We make three moves in a row, and the first one is an attempt to free up the exact address you asked for.
We offer whoever is on the board a site that is just as good. If they agree to move, the address opens up for your campaign. The choice is theirs, so we cannot promise it — but we always ask.
If they stay, we bring you an equivalent address nearby: the same format, comparable traffic, the neighbouring junction. A replacement reaches your quote only after you have approved it.
The board you wanted stays on our watch list. The moment it frees up we tell you, and you get the first offer.
All of this is part of your manager's work and costs you nothing.
Other countries
Campaign bigger than one country? There are billboards and screens in neighbouring markets too. Each card shows how many there are and which cities hold the most.
Tell us what you're advertising and in which cities. We'll pick the boards, show you the photos and addresses, and price the quote.
